What actually drives the price
1. Table count (driven by guest count). Tables are the unit of cost because each one comes with a trained dealer. Our rule from hundreds of events: seat about 60% of guests at once — guests naturally rotate between playing, eating, and socializing. That’s roughly one table per 15–20 guests.
2. Which games you pick. A blackjack table starts around $360 — it seats seven and every guest knows it. Craps runs higher (from about $550) because the table is bigger and the action is faster. Roulette lands in between (from about $420). If budget matters, card games give you the most seats per dollar.
3. Distance. Delivery inside the Sacramento area is straightforward; venues out toward the Bay Area, Tahoe, or the foothills add travel. A Folsom country club and a downtown Sacramento ballroom price about the same — a San Francisco venue won’t.
