Spark Events
This policy describes what Spark Events LLC ("we," "us") collects through this website, who we share it with, and how to reach us about it. Questions, corrections, or deletion requests:sales@sparktheparty.com.
Most of our enquiry forms open your own email application with a message ready to send. That means the details you type are not submitted to this website and are not stored by it — they travel as an ordinary email from your account to ours, exactly as if you had written to us yourself. We only ever see what you actually choose to send.
Two pages work differently, and are described below.
Our quote request page uses our own quote builder (below). The final-details page for some existing bookings still embeds a form hosted byJotForm. When you submit it, JotForm receives it directlyand passes it to us. It collects what you fill in — typically yourname, email address, phone number, event date, occasion or event type, and details about your event.
When you visit our site, we also record how you found us — such as a search engine, a review site, an email we sent you, or the ad or link you clicked — and carry that along with your quote request so we can tell which marketing efforts are working. So that a later visit is still credited to where you first found us, your browser remembers how you first found our site, on your own device, for up to 90 days. It holds no name, email or phone number. It is not kept if you have turned analytics off in Consent Preferences or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, and doing either deletes it. When you send a quote request we also note the consent choices in force at that moment, so we can honor them. We keep a copy of quote and final-details submissions in our own systems (hosted bySupabase) in addition to JotForm's copy, so our team can see them in one place. JotForm's embedded forms may also load JotForm's own third-party scripts (such as maps or its performance monitoring) inside the form itself, outside our control — those are covered by JotForm's own privacy policy.
Our quote request page uses our own quote builder. When you use it, what you enter — your name, email address, phone number, event date, guest count, event city or venue, the services and items you pick, and any site or event details you provide — is sent directly to systems we operate: it is stored in our database (hosted bySupabase) and in our customer-relationship system (Pipedrive) so a real person can prepare your quote. As you type an event city or venue, the text you have typed is sent to Mapboxthrough our own server to suggest addresses; your event location is also used withGoogle Maps services to estimate travel distance. Your in-progress build is saved in your own browser's storage so you can pick up where you left off, and a private link lets you return to your request from another device after confirming your email address.
The bar calculator runs entirely in your browser while you use it. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask us to email you the shopping list.
If you do, we receive your name, email address, event date, your city, whether you have booked with us, your guest count and non-alcoholic guest count, the estimated drink totals and budget the tool calculated, and the shopping list itself. This is sent using EmailJS, and the calculator's script loads from thejsDelivr content delivery network.
The tool also asks whether you agree to be contacted for sales and marketing. That box is separate, optional, and off by default — you can email the list to yourself without ticking it, and we record your answer either way. If you do opt in and later change your mind, tell us and we will stop; every marketing email we send also carries an unsubscribe link.
Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server access logs — including IP addresses — as part of operating the site. Fonts are served from our own servers, not a third party.
We also use Google Analytics 4, delivered throughGoogle Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site — which pages get viewed, roughly where visitors are coming from, and general usage patterns.For visitors in the United States, this analytics tracking runs by default — it is "opt-out," not opt-in — and you can turn it off at any time using the Consent Preferences link in the footer or the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link described below. Analytics data flows into Google's BigQuery and from there into our own database (Supabase), so our team can analyze it alongside our other business records. We use this data in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you individually, and we do not sell it. When you send a quote request, our server may also tell Google Analytics that a request was made during your visit (so the count isn't lost to ad blockers). That message carries only Google Analytics' own anonymous visitor ID and general details like the type of event — never your name, email address or phone number — and it is not sent if you have turned analytics off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
This site uses Termly to run the cookie consent banner you see when you first visit. Termly detects your approximate region (from your IP address) to show the right consent choices for where you are, and keeps a record of what you chose. You can change your choice at any time using the "Consent Preferences"link in the footer.

This site also honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) — a browser or extension setting that automatically tells us you don't want your information sold or shared — and provides a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"option through the consent banner for anyone who prefers to opt out directly. If you click Accept in our cookie banner (or Allow Allin Consent Preferences), this site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and Meta's Conversions API so we can measure which of our ads work and show relevant ads. Until you click one of those, Meta's tools are blocked entirely; saving preferences without clicking them does not turn advertising on.
When you start a quote request or join the Spark Birthday Club, we tell Meta that it happened. For a quote request we send hashed (scrambled, non-readable) versions of your email address, phone number and first name; for a Birthday Club sign-up we send no email or name. With either, we also send your IP address and browser/device information, Meta's own cookie identifiers, and the address of the page. Meta uses this to match the event to a Meta account, to measure our ads, and to decide who sees them (for example, to stop showing an ad to someone who already asked us for a quote). Under California law this is a "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We send Meta nothing unless you clicked Accept or Allow All, and nothing if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or you have opted out. Our own servers also never report a quote request or sign-up to Meta for an email address that has asked us to stop marketing to it. You can opt out at any time with Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or Consent Preferences in the footer, by emailingsales@sparktheparty.com, or through your Meta ad settings and aboutads.info/choices. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Planned: we may also share a hashed list of customers' email addresses or phone numbers, and the value of a completed booking, with Meta and Google to build advertising audiences (for example, to reach past customers or people similar to them). People who have opted out or asked us to stop marketing to them will not be included.
We use Klaviyo to send marketing emails to people who ask for them, including members of the Spark Birthday Club (below). You only receive marketing email if you've opted in (for example, by ticking a marketing checkbox or joining the Birthday Club); every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
The Spark Birthday Club is a free program. When you join, you give us yourfirst name, email address and birthday (month and day, no year). In return we send you a birthday gift worth up to $100 when you book a party with Spark around your birthday. The gift is an addition to your party, not cash; what it is depends on the party you book. One gift per person per year. We email the details of the gift before your birthday. We also note where you signed up (for example, a party card or this website) and the version of this notice you saw.
How you join: by filling in the Birthday Club form on our website and pressing "Join the Birthday Club". Joining is your choice, and nothing else we offer depends on it. How you leave: use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or email sales@sparktheparty.comand ask us to remove you; we stop emailing you and delete your birthday from the program. Leaving costs you nothing except future birthday gifts.
What your information is worth to us: we estimate the value of a member's information at up to $100 a year. We worked this out from what the program costs us: the most we will spend on one member's birthday gift each year is $100, and we offer the gift because a birthday reminder sometimes leads to a party booking. We use the information to run the program and to send you our marketing emails (your birthday gift, our newsletter and occasional offers); joining the club is signing up for those emails. If you clicked Accept on advertising cookies, we also tell Meta that someone joined, without your email or name (see Advertising above). We do not sell it for money. You must be 18 or older to join.
Each handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal; we do not currently change this site's behavior in response to that specific signal, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) — a similar opt-out signal with legal effect in states like California (see Cookie consent & your choices above).
Google Analytics recognizes repeat visits to this site over time. As described above, if you click Accept on advertising cookies we tell Meta when you start a quote request or join the Birthday Club, and we plan to share hashed customer lists with Meta and Google for advertising audiences; this may allow those companies to connect your activity on this site with your activity on their own platforms. You can opt out using the advertising consent choice or the Do Not Sell or Share option.
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to quote, run your event, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept only as long as they are useful, then deleted.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will handle it. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may need to keep records connected to a booking or required by law.
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email us. If you email us to opt out, we also stop reporting your quote requests and sign-ups to Meta from our servers.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. If the change is significant — for example if we add a feature that sends your information to a new third party — we will say so clearly on this page before it takes effect.
