Spark Events
This policy describes what Spark Events LLC ("we," "us") collects through this website, who we share it with, and how to reach us about it. Questions, corrections, or deletion requests:sales@sparktheparty.com.
Most of our enquiry forms open your own email application with a message ready to send. That means the details you type are not submitted to this website and are not stored by it — they travel as an ordinary email from your account to ours, exactly as if you had written to us yourself. We only ever see what you actually choose to send.
Two pages work differently, and are described below.
Our quote request and final-details pages embed forms hosted byJotForm. When you submit one, JotForm receives it directlyand passes it to us. Those forms collect what you fill in — typically yourname, email address, phone number, event date, occasion or event type, and details about what you are looking for.
When you visit our quote page, we also record how you found us — such as which ad or link you clicked, if any — and carry that along with your submission so we can tell which marketing efforts are working. We keep a copy of quote and final-details submissions in our own systems (hosted bySupabase) in addition to JotForm's copy, so our team can see them in one place. JotForm's embedded forms may also load JotForm's own third-party scripts (such as maps or its performance monitoring) inside the form itself, outside our control — those are covered by JotForm's own privacy policy.
Some quote pages on this site use our own quote builder instead of a JotForm embed. When you use it, what you enter — your name, email address, phone number, event date, guest count, event city or venue, the services and items you pick, and any site or event details you provide — is sent directly to systems we operate: it is stored in our database (hosted bySupabase) and in our customer-relationship system (Pipedrive) so a real person can prepare your quote. As you type an event city or venue, the text you have typed is sent to Mapboxthrough our own server to suggest addresses; your event location is also used withGoogle Maps services to estimate travel distance. Your in-progress build is saved in your own browser's storage so you can pick up where you left off, and a private link lets you return to your request from another device after confirming your email address.
The bar calculator runs entirely in your browser while you use it. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask us to email you the shopping list.
If you do, we receive your name, email address, event date, your city, whether you have booked with us, your guest count and non-alcoholic guest count, the estimated drink totals and budget the tool calculated, and the shopping list itself. This is sent using EmailJS, and the calculator's script loads from thejsDelivr content delivery network.
The tool also asks whether you agree to be contacted for sales and marketing. That box is separate, optional, and off by default — you can email the list to yourself without ticking it, and we record your answer either way. If you do opt in and later change your mind, tell us and we will stop; every marketing email we send also carries an unsubscribe link.
Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server access logs — including IP addresses — as part of operating the site. Fonts are served from our own servers, not a third party.
We also use Google Analytics 4, delivered throughGoogle Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site — which pages get viewed, roughly where visitors are coming from, and general usage patterns.For visitors in the United States, this analytics tracking runs by default — it is "opt-out," not opt-in — and you can turn it off at any time using the Consent Preferences link in the footer or the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link described below. Analytics data flows into Google's BigQuery and from there into our own database (Supabase), so our team can analyze it alongside our other business records. We use this data in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you individually, and we do not sell it.
This site uses Termly to run the cookie consent banner you see when you first visit. Termly detects your approximate region (from your IP address) to show the right consent choices for where you are, and keeps a record of what you chose. You can change your choice at any time using the "Consent Preferences"link in the footer.

This site also honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) — a browser or extension setting that automatically tells us you don't want your information sold or shared — and provides a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"option through the consent banner for anyone who prefers to opt out directly. If you accept advertising cookies in the banner, this site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to understand which visitors come from our ads and to show relevant ads to past visitors on Meta's platforms. It only runs after you accept — before that, it's blocked entirely.
Planned: we intend to also share limited customer information — such as a hashed (scrambled, non-readable) version of your email address or phone number, and the value of a completed booking — with Meta and Google so we can build advertising audiences (for example, to reach past customers or people similar to them) and measure whether our ads led to a booking. We also intend to send them a signal when a lead comes in or a booking is completed (a "conversion event"), so we can tell which of our ads are working. If you have not accepted advertising cookies, your activity on this site is not included in that sharing.
We use (or intend to use) Klaviyo to send marketing emails to people who ask for them — including a planned birthday sign-up where you give us your name, email, and birthday in exchange for a birthday offer. You only receive marketing email if you've opted in (for example, by ticking a marketing checkbox or joining the birthday list); every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Each handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal; we do not currently change this site's behavior in response to that specific signal, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) — a similar opt-out signal with legal effect in states like California (see Cookie consent & your choices above).
Google Analytics recognizes repeat visits to this site over time. As described above, we plan to share limited hashed customer information with Meta and Google for advertising audiences and conversion tracking, and this may allow those companies to connect your activity on this site with your activity on their own platforms. You can opt out using the advertising consent choice or the Do Not Sell or Share option.
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to quote, run your event, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept only as long as they are useful, then deleted.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will handle it. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may need to keep records connected to a booking or required by law.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. If the change is significant — for example if we add a feature that sends your information to a new third party — we will say so clearly on this page before it takes effect.
